At Building Bridges Enterprises, we believe in second chances. We provide transitional housing for women and children in need, vocational rehabilitation, constructional services, and more.

ALBERTA'S HOUSE

Our transitional housing program, provides a safe and stable environment for homeless, runaway, and at-risk adults, and their children. Each resident is enrolled in our rehabilitation programs, that equips them to live independently and self-sufficiently.

VOCATIONAL REHABILITATION

Building Bridges Enterprises vocational rehabilitation program helps people achieve their goals for employment opportunities, career readiness, and independence. The following programs are offered:

  • ​Budgeting and Financing: We provide financial literacy courses and workshops on how to sustain and maintain a monthly budget. Our transitional housing program offers residents the opportunity to learn how to save and manage their money, that will prepare them for independence.

  • 401(k)/Entrepreneurship: We educate our families on retirement plan fundamentals, how to set up solo 401(k) plans for entrepreneurs, and to help them understand complex 401k rules. 

  • Residential Construction: Our residential construction program focuses on rebuilding and repairing our communities, as well as preparing students to learn safe tool use and receive construction skills.

CDL PROGRAMS

  • Trucking Services: We offer training programs for individuals to receive their CDL.

  • Our certified instructors provide quality training to those wanting to begin a career in commercial transportation.

BASED ON INCOME:(DUE TO THE LOSS OF SOME DONATIONS AS OF JANUARY 10,2023 payment has changed, we apologize to whom this may affect. In consideration we offer payment plans with the down payment of $500.00 and then weekly payments before drivetime)

MEDICAL ASSISTANCE

  • We offer an on-site nurse three times a week, providing free blood pressure and diabete checks

  • Our community nurse is on call to assist the needs of homeless and disabled citizens

  • We are working towards offering Drug addiction rehabilitation to help addicted individuals stop compulsive drug seeking and use.

  • Providing medical attentiveness towards dental care in partnership with small dental practices

  •  We assist individuals in filing applications for SNAP benefits, CAPS services, Disability benefits, and more.

PARENTS FRESH START

Our Parent Fresh Start program assists mothers and fathers to make necessary lifestyle changes needed to provide a safe and suitable home for their children.

We offer:

  • Step-by-step parenting classes to improve parenting skills

  • Modern family behavior plan 

  • Child maltreatment prevention classes, and more.
